Rainer Laupichler

Rainer Laupichler (born January 21, 1957 in Daun ) is a German actor and manager of the Eifel-Kulturtage .

Life

Rainer Laupichler studied business administration in Berlin for four semesters . In 1981 he moved to the Berlin University of the Arts (FB Performing Arts) and graduated in 1985 with a diploma. He had stage engagements at the Burgtheater Vienna , at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in Berlin, the Bielefeld Theater , the Mainz State Theater , the Baden-Baden Theater and Andrej Woron's Teatr Kreatur .

In 2005 and 2006 he founded and directed the Manderscheider Kulturtage, which then merged into the Eifel Culture Days in 2007. Since then he has been the managing director of the annual series of cultural events. From 2007 until today, more than 200 artists presented themselves in the annual series of events. Representative are: Ben Becker , Kaya Yanar , Bodo Bach , Elke Heidenreich , Guido Cantz , Gudrun Landgrebe , Gerhard Polt & Biermösl Blosn , Günter Wallraff , Susanne Fröhlich , Christoph Maria Herbst , Hannelore Hoger , Mathias Richling , Rüdiger Hoffmann or Katharina Thalbach .

The event locations are small communities such as Niederöfflingen or Arenrath with a few hundred inhabitants or district towns in the Eifel such as Bitburg , Daun , Mayen and Wittlich .

In February 2015, Rainer Laupichler was awarded the medal of honor from the WochenSpiegel "in appreciation and recognition of services to culture in the region".

Rainer Laupichler is married, has four daughters and lives in the Eifel. So far he has worked in over 200 film and television productions.
