Peter Röder (Manager)

Peter Röder (born 1960 in Würzburg ) is a member of the Board of Management of Munich Reinsurance Company.

Life and professional history

Röder studied economics and business administration at the universities in Würzburg and Mannheim . He received his doctorate in business administration from the University of Mannheim in 1989.

Röder began his professional career in 1989 as an underwriter at Munich Reinsurance Company , where he has held various management positions since 1994.

In 1999, Röder became sales manager for the Netherlands and two years later for the entire Netherlands Non-Life division. A year later he moved to the corporate development department.

In 2007 Röder became a member of the Board of Management of Munich Reinsurance Company, responsible for the Global Clients and North America division .

Since 2018, Röder has also been responsible for Europe and Latin America.
