Joachim Wenning
Joachim Wenning (* 1965 in Jerusalem ) is a German manager. Wenning has been CEO of Munich Reinsurance since April 27, 2017 .
Life
Wenning studied economics in Munich , where he graduated in 1991. Wenning worked on his dissertation until 1995 , which he completed with a doctorate to become a Dr. oec. publ. completed. In May 2005 he was appointed CEO of the Neue Rück in Geneva. In 2009 he was appointed to the Board of Management of Munich Re. There he was initially responsible for the Life department , from October 2013 for the central Human Resources department and at the same time as Labor Director .
