Peter Sandbichler

Peter Sandbichler (born September 18, 1964 in Kufstein , Tyrol ) is an Austrian artist. He lives and works in Vienna . In 1995 he exhibited in the Austrian pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia . He works in the field of sculpture , object art , media art and installations .

life and work

From 1979 to 1983 Peter Sandbichler attended the technical school for wood and stone sculpture in Innsbruck , after which he attended the Art Students League with Martin Knox in New York City for a year . From 1984 to 1986 he studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Wander Bertoni , then until 1991 with Bruno Gironcoli sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . From 1993 to 1994 he studied at the State University of Fine Arts in Frankfurt am Main, New Media Department, with Peter Weibel .

Peter Sandbichler is a member of the Association of Visual Artists, Vienna Secession.
