Peter Schütz (politician, 1945)

Peter Schütz (* 7. January 1945 in Auma ; † 13. October 1997 in Zeulenroda ) was a German politician of the CDU . He was a member of the Thuringian State Parliament in the 1st and 2nd electoral periods until his death (1990 to 1997).

Schütz graduated as a metal mesh maker in 1963 and worked in this profession until 1972. From 1972 to 1978 he worked as a technologist and Booker worked in between, he completed in 1974 a study as an engineer for mechanical engineering from. From 1978 to 1984 he worked as deputy division manager and division manager.

From 1984 to 1987 he was a member of the Zeulenroda district council , then head of department, from 1984 a member of the Zeulenroda CDU district board, and from 1976 to 1987 city ​​councilor and district council member in Zeulenroda.

In the election to the 1st state parliament of the re-established state of Thuringia on October 14, 1990, Peter Schütz won the direct mandate in constituency 35 (Zeulenroda - Schleiz II). In the election to the 2nd state parliament on October 16, 1994, he was confirmed as a directly elected member of the newly tailored constituency 39 (Greiz I) .

On October 13, 1997, Schütz died of heart failure during an event in his constituency. On November 13, 1997, Volker Emde moved from the CDU Thuringia state list to the 2nd Thuringian state parliament.

Peter Schütz was married and had three children.
