Peter Wolfsberger

Peter Wolfsberger (born October 6, 1949 in Vienna ) is an Austrian television and stage actor .

life and work

During his acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar , which he completed in 1973, Wolfsberger was engaged for his first leading role on television. His first stage engagement took him to the Schauspielhaus Zürich , followed by a guest appearance at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt , further television roles and an engagement at the Salzburg State Theater . He has been a member of the Vienna Burgtheater ensemble since 1977 , where he has since appeared in over 60 roles.

At the Salzburg Festival he was the announcer in Jedermann am Domplatz from 1982 to 1989 , in 1991 he played the Neugebauer in Difficult there , and in 2013 he played the fairy king Stellaris, the ticket seller and the servant in the Zwirn house in the successful production of Lumpazivagabundus by Johann Nestroy , a co-production with the Burgtheater . He also made several guest appearances at the Reichenau Festival .

Wolfsberger regularly appears in radio plays , for example in the three Schnitzler settings Der Grüne Kakadu (1989), Zwischenpiel (1992) and Die Schwestern or Casanova in Spa (1995).
