Career as an entrepreneur

In 1991 he became a co-founder of the PPF Group (První privatizační fond, First Privatization Fund ) , an investment company that emerged as part of the coupon privatization of public property.

During his 20 years in the mutual fund, PPF became one of the largest investment and financial groups in Central and Eastern Europe.
