Petra Ernstberger born Rosenberger (born November 11, 1955 in Remscheid ) is a German politician of the SPD .

Life

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1975, Petra Ernstberger studied at the University of Bayreuth for teaching at elementary schools , which she completed in 1978 with the first state examination and, after completing her legal clerkship, in 1981 with the second state examination . She then worked as a primary school teacher. In 1990 she moved to the chair for elementary school education and didactics at the University of Bayreuth as a research assistant.

Party career

Ernstberger has been a member of the SPD since 1990 and was chairwoman of the SPD sub-district Hof - Wunsiedel from 1992 to 2005 . In 2008 she started as a district administrator in the Wunsiedel district , but failed against the CSU applicant Karl Döhler .

Member of Parliament

From 1994 to 2017 Ernstberger was a member of the German Bundestag . From February 12, 2003 to November 30, 2004, she was the spokesperson for the working group on disarmament and arms control of the SPD parliamentary group .

From November 22, 2004 she was Parliamentary Managing Director of the SPD parliamentary group. She was also a spokeswoman for the Seeheimer Kreis .

Ernst Berger retired in 1998 as the directly elected members of the constituency court and otherwise always on the national list Bavaria in the Bundestag one. For the general election in 2017 it did not happen again.
