Petra Nadvornik
Petra Nadvornik (born May 2, 1960 in Cottbus ) is a German opera singer ( soprano ). Since 2010 she has been a chamber singer at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin .
Life
After graduating from high school in Frankfurt (Oder) , she completed an apprenticeship at the “Hanns Eisler” University of Music in Berlin with, among others, chamber singer Hanne-Lore Kuhse .
While still a student, she made her debut at the German State Opera Berlin . In 1983 she worked at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin, to which she is still a member. Guest performances have taken her to the Schwetzingen Festival , the theaters in Lübeck, Kiel, Braunschweig, and the Theater Vorpommern in Stralsund, Hildesheim, Mainz and Detmold.
