The Hohenbucko parsonage is a listed building in the Hohenbucko community on the western edge of the Rochauer Heide in the Elbe-Elster district in southern Brandenburg . It is listed as a local monument in the local monument register under registration number 09135726.

Building description and history

The Hohenbuckoer rectory is located just east of from the 13th century derived village church . The construction time of the building is dated to the year 1910. The building is a one-story brick building with a protruding field stone base. It was provided with a gable roof . Its facade is symmetrically structured. Furthermore, the entrance area was designed as a risalit with a gable . The segment-arched windows are equipped with folding shutters.

On the left-hand side of the building there is the former parish apartment with chamber and the room that is now used as a community hall. On the right side you can find the former office, a chamber, confirmation room, the kitchen and a pantry. The attic was originally divided into a girls' room and three bedrooms. There is also a smokehouse here.

Other sights in addition to the rectory in the village include the Hohenbuckoer Dorfkirche , the Hohenbuckoer Oberförsterei , the Lochmühle , a former large farm in Dorfstraße 44 and a post mile column . Further sights can be found in the Proßmarke district with the local village church and a listed residential building.
