architecture

The church - surrounded by a cemetery - has a medieval tower, a baroque church and an extended modern nave with a chancel.

The mighty but moderately high west tower, probably from the end of the 14th century, is divided into three parts by cornices, the tower ground floor is open with pointed arches, it has twin windows in the bell floor and has a pointed gable helmet. The three-bay baroque nave closes with a retracted polygonal choir, the facades are structured with pilaster strips and segmented arched windows. The nave was opened in 1975 with an extension to the north and reoriented with a new chancel.

The church interior of the baroque building shows a flat barrel vault from 1690, the pointed cap ridges are emphasized with wide leaf bars. Between the medallion fields there is acanthus stucco around 1700. The vault painting was done by the painter Josef Gold in 1883, in the choir the four evangelists and Peter and Paul , in the nave the Heart of Jesus , the erection of the cross, the birth of Christ and the four church fathers .
