Philipp Bayer

Philipp Jakob Bayer (born June 26, 1868 in Würzburg , † June 8, 1902 in Bamberg ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Bayer attended the elementary school in Würzburg from 1874 to 1878 and the college there from 1878 to 1881. Between 1881 and 1887 he attended the Latin school and grammar school at the Metten Monastery and from 1887 to 1891 the University of Würzburg , where he studied philosophy and law . From 1891 he was a legal intern at the Kgl. District court Würzburg II, at the regional court of Würzburg, at the district office of Kulmbach and at the city council of Würzburg. In 1894 he passed the state examination for higher judicial and administrative service and from June 1895 he was a lawyer in Bamberg. He was a Knight of the Order of the Holy Tomb .

From 1898 until his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Franconia 3 Forchheim , Kulmbach , Pegnitz , Ebermannstadt and the German Center Party .
