Philippe Roussel
Philippe Roussel (born November 26, 1961 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actor , theater director , speaker and singer.
Life
Before Philippe Roussel trained at the drama school in Basel , he learned the trade of a businessman . After completing his training, he went to Germany, where he a. a. worked with Claus Biederstaedt and Volker von Collande . Then he played on various stages in Switzerland, so u. a. at the Bernhard-Theater in Zurich, Theater Fauteuil in Basel, Sommertheater Winterthur and in the Casinotheater Winterthur .
He developed a weakness for singing at a young age and made his first appearance at the age of six. In 1992 he was a finalist in the Swiss elimination of the Concours Eurovision de la Chanson and in 1996 his first CD was released with the title To stand here today with his own songs. He often plays singing roles in the theater, B. in the small Niederdorf Opera or in the white Rössel .
In 1992 he became a member of the cabaret group Friends who Sketch- Einspieler for the entertainment show Benissimo produced. He was also seen in individual episodes of Viktor's program , Fascht e Familie and Lüthi and Blanc , until his breakthrough came with the role of Leo Matter in the sitcom Mannezimmer . After that he was also seen in the sitcoms Bürgerbüro, Moved Men and Hotel Paradiso.
