Philo Paz Patrick Armand

Philo Paz Patrick Armand (born March 12, 1996 ) is an Indonesian racing driver . He started in the GP2 series in 2016 .

Career

Armand began his motorsport career in 2006 in kart racing , in which he remained active until 2012. In 2011 he finished fourth in the Asia-Pacific Championship. In 2012 he took part in the World and European Championships. At the end of 2012 Armand made his debut in formula racing and took part in the winter series of the British Formula Renault as a guest starter for Fortec Motorsports . In 2013 Armand started for Fortec Motorsports in the Northern European Formula Renault . While his teammate Matthew Parry decided the championship for themselves, Armand reached 28th overall. He also made four guest starts in the Alpine Formula Renault for Tech 1 Racing . In 2014 Armand started for Tech 1 Racing in the alpine Formula Renault. With a fourth place as the best result, he finished the season in 18th place overall. He also took part in four races of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup as a guest starter .

In 2015 Armand switched to Formula Renault 3.5 for Pons Racing . He did not appear at an event because of visa problems. After returning to the grid for the next race weekend, he dropped out again with visa problems for the remaining three events. In 2016 Armand started for Trident in the GP2 series . While his teammate Luca Ghiotto was eighth overall with 111 points, Armand remained without points and reached 24th place in the championship.
