The Piaggio P.9 was a touring aircraft made by the Italian manufacturer Piaggio .
History and construction
The Piaggio P.9 was a single-engine strutted high-decker with a closed cabin and a conventional tail unit . The aircraft had a non-retractable tail wheel landing gear and was designed by Piaggio for the civilian market. The completely wooden machine first flew in 1929 and was powered by a 56 kW Blackburn Cirrus II piston engine.
