Most of his books and documentary are about this subject. As a result, he had friendly relations with the former resistance fighters and former concentration camp prisoners Paul Le Goupil (* 1922), René Besse and Floréal Barrier, who had died in the meantime, with whose help he was able to realize these projects. His book Letters from Deportation was published in French in 2015. The letters are in the archives of the Buchenwald Memorial .
