Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss (born August 17, 1962 in East Berlin ) is a German actor , director and screenwriter .

Life

Sanoussi-Bliss is the son of a Guinean diplomat and a teacher living in the GDR at the time . Sanoussi-Bliss attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . From 1987 to 1990 he was engaged at the Dresden State Theater. Among other things, he played one of the leading roles in Doris Dörrie's award-winning comedy Keiner Loves mich (1994) , the voodoo magician Orfeo. In 1997 he took on the leading role of assistant Axel Richter in the television series Der Alte and one of the bigger roles in the comedy Everything will be fine (1998). In 1997 he played a cold-blooded drug dealer in The Derrick episode "A Little Red Number". For the direction and the script of the film Back on Los! (2000), in which he also played the leading role, he was nominated for a prize at the Emden International Film Festival . Back to go! premiered at the Berlinale 2000 , has since shown great success at over 60 international festivals and is available in stores as DVD-Video . Sanoussi-Bliss was the only media representative to give a high-profile speech at the 2006 integration summit in the Federal Chancellery .

In September 2014, the production company Sanoussi-Bliss, like Markus Böttcher , announced that his contract as an actor in Der Alte would not be extended after 18 years. The actor then published a video in which he accused the ZDF managers of a rejuvenation delusion. The lawsuit against the production company was ultimately dismissed by the Federal Labor Court.

Sanoussi-Bliss also speaks audio books, for example Salve Roma! by Akif Pirinçci , What do we do now? and All Inclusive by Doris Dörrie or his own children's book Der Nix . Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss is also involved as a voluntary ambassador for the Children's Hospice Central Germany Nordhausen Foundation in Tambach-Dietharz . He lives in Berlin with his husband Till Kaposty-Bliss, who works as art director and publisher of the magazine Das Magazin .

In 2016, Sanoussi-Bliss presented his second full-length feature film "Women! - Sisters share. Everything." finished, where he was responsible for the production, the script and the direction. The film started in various arthouse cinemas in 2018 and is available as an Internet stream .

Sanoussi-Bliss is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS) and the German Film Academy.
