Pillar is a Christian rock band that was formed in 1998 in Kansas , USA .

Band history

In the beginning Pillar had a crossover- like style, which changed more and more to hard rock with each new album . Their second CD, Fireproof , sold over 300,000 copies.

The 2004 album Where Do We Go from Here reached number 74 on the American Billboard charts. In August 2006 the EP Nothing Comes for Free was released in a limited edition of 10,000 pieces. In 2008 Pillar released her album For the Love of the Game . The LP Confessions followed in 2009 .

In 2006, Pillar was voted America's Best Nu-Metal Band by CCM Magazine .

On April 10th and 11th, 2010 Pillar played two concerts in Germany. Once at the Balinger Rock Festival and the next day in Emden in East Friesland. In October 2011 they played for the second time at the Rock Without Limits festival in Balingen.
