Piotr Parzyszek (born September 8, 1993 in Toruń ) is a Polish football player . He has both Polish and Dutch citizenship .
Career
Parzyszek, who grew up in the Netherlands, had played in various Dutch youth teams before joining the youth department of VBV De Graafschap Doetinchem in 2007 . On August 10, 2012, he made his debut in the first team at the home game against Excelsior Rotterdam . Within a short time he earned himself a regular place and scored ten goals in 28 league games in the Dutch Eerste Divisie in his first professional season . In the first half of the 2013/14 season he scored 16 goals in 20 games and was signed by the London club Charlton Athletic during the winter break . On February 8, 2014 he made his debut at home against Birmingham City in the Football League Championship , the second highest English division. However, that was his only assignment in the 2013/14 season . For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to the Belgian second division club VV St. Truiden . In 31 league games he scored twelve goals and was involved in the rise of VV St. Truiden. For the 2015/16 season he was loaned to the Danish first division club Randers FC for a year . Here he scored a goal in eight league games and soon returned to Charlton Athletic.
After Parzyszek asked to terminate his contract, he moved back to the Eredivisie in February 2016 to work with his former employer VBV De Graafschap Doetinchem . He scored two goals in nine league games and was relegated to the Eerste Divisie in 17th place with his team . In the 2016/17 season he scored 25 goals in 38 league games for De Graafschap.
For the 2017/18 season he was signed by PEC Zwolle ; he signed a three-year contract with the team from the Eredivisie . But just a year later he joined Piast Gliwice in his native Poland .
