The Pizzas d'Anarosa (also: gray horns ) are several mountain peaks in the Lepontine Alps in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland that belong to the mountain of the same name . The highest peak is 3002 m high. The less high Cufercalhorn at 2800 m connects to the pizzas .
They are located north of Splügen , between the Safien and Hinterrheintal and between the Bruschghorn and Alperschällihorn . Starting points for an ascent are the Turrahus in Thalkirch and Sufers .
Like the other limestone mountains in Splügen , the Pizzas d'Anarosa are characterized by stone deserts and scree slopes. They are rarely used because the routes are very prone to falling rocks. A marked circular hiking trail leads around the pizzas and the Cufercalhorn . East of the Cufercalhorn is the Cufercalhütte of the Swiss Alpine Club at 2385 m.
The northern Alp Anarosa and the cheese produced there have the same name.
