Plínio José Luz da Silva (born October 18, 1955 in Pacoti , Ceará , Brazil ) is Bishop of Picos .

Life

Plínio José Luz da Silva received on 16 December 1984, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On 13 June 2001 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Marazanae and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Fortaleza . The Archbishop of Fortaleza, José Antônio Aparecido Tosi Marques , donated him episcopal ordination on August 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Sobral , Aldo de Cillo Pagotto SSS , and the Bishop of Iguatu , José Doth de Oliveira . On November 26, 2003, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Picos.
