The Plenkovický potok (German Mühlbach ) is a right tributary of the Jevišovka in the Czech Republic .
course
The Plenkovický potok rises between Lesná ( Liliendorf ) and Šumná ( Schönwald ) in the Okres Znojmo ; its source is on the Lange Kammer plateau in the two ponds east of the pheasant farm. Initially the stream flows through the fields to the north; at Šumná it reappears and is bridged by the Znojmo – Nymburk railway near the station . Its further course leads northeast through the forest area Šumenský hvozd, where it is dammed in the ponds Nový rybník, Prostřední rybník and Vlkov or Šimperák ( Schimberger pond ). In a loop, the stream flows around the Šimperk ( Schimberg , 416 mnm) with the Šenkenberk castle ruins and turns to the southeast. On this section it feeds the ponds Nový rybník and Neplech, then the Plenkovický potok flows through Olbramkostel . Then the stream is crossed by the Silnice I / 38 and reaches the Jevišovka Nature Park.
The middle course leads east through Kravsko , where the stream feeds the Zámecký rybník ( castle pond ). Then the Plenkovický potok flows into the Plenkovický rybník - the pond is the largest in area on the stream - and through Plenkovice .
The Spodní rybník, Plenkovický Mlýn, Hluboké Mašůvky , Hlavatův Mlýn and Bábovec ponds lie along the lower reaches of the northeast. On its last section, the stream flows through the Bábovecký les forest in an increasingly rocky valley, where the Lapikus castle ruins are located on a rock spur . The slopes on both sides of the stream are protected as a natural monument of Lapikus up to the mouth.
After 19.8 km the Plenkovický potok flows into the Jevišovka opposite the Rotte Culpovec belonging to the Plaveč municipality . The entire course of the stream flows through the Jevišovická pahorkatina ( Jaispitzer hill country ).
