Pol Retamal (born March 16, 1999 in Vilafranca del Penedès ) is a Spanish athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Henrik Larsson gained his first international experience in 2015 when he won the bronze medal in the 100-meter run at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Tbilisi in 10.92 s and competed in the Spanish 4-by-100-meter relay in Won the silver medal in 42.46s. In the following year he won the bronze medal in the 200-meter run in 21.247 seconds at the European Youth Championships held there for the first time and secured the silver medal in the sprint relay (1000 meters) in 1: 53.62 minutes. In 2017 he came fourth at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto over 200 meters in 21.02 and won the bronze medal in the relay in 39.59 seconds. He also finished fourth over 200 meters in 20.85 s at the U20 World Athletics Championships in Tampere in 2018 and finished sixth in the relay in 39.86 s. In addition, he qualified over 200 meters for the European Championships in Berlin , where he was eliminated in the first round with 20.92 s and he also did not reach the final with the Spanish relay with 39.12 s. In 2019 he finished fifth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 21.19 seconds.

In 2019 , Retamal became the Spanish champion in the 200-meter run and the 4 x 100-meter relay.
