Parking lot of love is a German crime film by Hans Knötzsch from 1986. The television film was released as the 104th episode in the film series Polizeiruf 110 .

action

Bruno Handtke is out with a woman who makes him clear advances in the car and with whom he stops at a parking lot in a forest area. Bruno does not notice that a Trabant followed them. He disappears into the forest with the woman. A little later the woman is dead. First Lieutenant Lutz Zimmermann and Lieutenant Thomas Grawe take over the investigation. It turns out that the unknown was run over. After an inspection of auto repair shops, Bruno's car is found, which shows traces of blood from the woman. During the interrogation, Bruno denies knowing the woman or having anything to do with her death.

The plumbers Steffen Eisermann and Jörg Schubke return home earlier than expected, as they have made an appointment for their after-work hours. Both families live in the same building across the corridor, the wives Marita Schubke and Lissi Eisermann are close friends. Both are housewives, the husbands always come home late at night. Now they only meet Marita, who seems upset. She reproaches the men for being constantly on the move. Even tickets for a bar don't make Marita happy, as she knows that both men will only have their work on their minds when they leave. Lissi's absence makes Steffen helpless as he suspects that his wife is cheating again. However, on Jörg's advice, he does not go to the police. A missing person report would at most make him look ridiculous, as the police will hardly want to solve his marital problems for him.

The investigators have found no ID on the dead woman, who is Lissi, that would reveal her identity. Marks on her ring finger show she must be married and usually wore a wide wedding ring. She had exchanged this for a narrow ring with a stone on the day of the tattoo, possibly in order not to let a lover know that she is married. Sperm traces on her thighs show that the last man did not have intercourse. Forensic medicine cannot determine whether she was raped. For a long time the search in the motorway restaurants was unsuccessful, but finally a waitress remembers seeing Lissi with Bruno. When confronted with this statement, Bruno admits that he was approached by Lissi in the restaurant. She had been transferred and wanted to be taken to the next train station. After clear advances, he disappeared with her in the forest. Sexual intercourse did not occur because it came too early. Therefore, he returned to his car earlier, where he saw a person with a flat cap trying to break into his car. The person fled in a satellite. Bruno wanted to follow the car, but Lissi stood in front of his car. He still accelerated because he assumed that Lissi would jump to the side. As a result, he ran over her.

Steffen Eisermann finds a police report in the newspaper with a portrait of his wife and a request for identification help. He now learns of his wife's death. In her closet he finds a list with details of when and how much money she “received” from men and believes she has prostituted herself. That is how he explains the many new clothes she has bought and which Marita claims she bought and sold. The investigators also learn from other victims that they have fallen for Marita's scam. Only now do the men admit to having cheated on their wives with Marita. The investigators are now looking for the accomplice. Lutz Zimmermann remembers that Steffen has a flat cap that the accomplice wore. The hat can be found in Marita's household waste. Marita is a trained car mechanic and finally admits to having planned and carried out the thefts together with Lissi.
