The Specialist is a German crime film by Edgar Kaufmann from 1975. The television film was released as the 33rd episode of the Polizeiruf 110 film series and is one of the fragmentary films in the series.

Lieutenant Jürgen Huebner and Master Lutz Subras are charged with clearing up a wage theft. The funds were stolen from the safe while the brigade was at a party.

Jürgen Hübner and Lutz Subras are finally able to convict accountant Mr. Hempel of the fact: He hoped to be able to cover up his own embezzlement with the wage theft.

The specialist was filmed from February 10 to March 1, 1975 in Leipzig and Berlin . The costumes of the film created Beate Faeth that Filmbauten derived from Werner Jagodzinski .
