Alfred Rücker (actor)
Alfred Rücker (born January 5, 1945 in Vienna ) is a German actor and radio host.
Life
Rücker grew up in Weimar in the GDR . His family came from Hamburg.
From 1967 to 1971 he studied acting at the Film and Television Academy (HFF) in Potsdam - Babelsberg . During his studies he already took on tasks in DEFA productions , for example in the movie Suspicion of a Dead . After that he initially worked as a freelancer.
He became known for the portrayal of the master (comparable to a sergeant major of the NVA ), later sub-lieutenants , then lieutenants of the German People's Police Lutz Subras in the series Polizeiruf 110 of GDR television . He played this role 29 times between 1973 and 1977 in episodes 3, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 17, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29–40, 43, 44, 46 -48 . He always remained the "young man" on duty here. He could also be seen at the shooting range in the opening credits of this series. In addition to his police call appearances, he performed only a few other artistic tasks.
In connection with the protests about the expatriation of Wolf Biermann and some tragic arrests in his circle of friends, he applied to leave the country in 1976 , left the GDR with his wife and son in 1979 and moved with the family to Hamburg. Rücker has been working for Norddeutscher Rundfunk since 1981 . Here he worked for NDR 2 for years alongside radio and NDR legend Carlo von Tiedemann . Since May 20, 2012, Rücker has also been speaking frequently off-screen in the ARD's 8 p.m. Tagesschau .
In particular , he became known to a wide audience as a newscaster on NDR 2 . In addition, it was his voice that said the legendary slogan "With five marks you are there" in the advertisement for the television lottery Die Goldene Eins before the Tagesschau. Today he is retired and still works occasionally as a spokesman for the NDR . He also speaks in radio plays and trains moderators in journalistic speaking. He also gives seminars, gives poetry readings and dubbing films.
He was also known in northern Germany as a reciter of parts from the Harry Potter books.
Rücker has now been married a second time and has another son.
