Wolfram Handel

Wolfram Handel (born May 16, 1929 in Erfurt , † December 11, 1987 in Berlin ) was a German actor .

Life

As the son of an acting couple, Wolfram Handel took private acting lessons in Weimar . After engagements in Weimar, Sangerhausen , Meiningen , Eisenach , Greiz , Rudolstadt and Zeitz , he was signed to the Berliner Ensemble in 1956, to which he belonged until his death. From the late 1950s he also worked as an actor for film and television.

Wolfram Handel was married to the photographer Ingrid Handel.
