Tom Felleghy ; actually Tamás Fellegi , also Felleghi (born November 26, 1921 in Budapest ) is an Italian actor of Hungarian descent.

Life

Tom Felleghy studied acting and directing in Budapest and worked primarily in the theater, also as an actor, but primarily as a director . In this activity he worked with all the well-known Hungarian actors of the time.

After the popular uprising in 1956, he fled to Austria; After many difficulties and detours, he finally came to the European film metropolis of the time, Cinecittà in Rome.

From 1958 on he played small roles in Italian films. In 1964 he received the offer for the lead role in the Norwegian film "Marenco" as an emigrant of the same name, which he naturally accepted. It was to remain his only leading role.

Since then he has been seen in every genre; over time his roles became smaller and he often only had brief guest appearances (there are a considerable number of films in which he can only be seen in one scene) in Italian, but also international films made in Italy. Typical roles for him are high-ranking officers, doctors, sheriffs and public prosecutors. By 1991 he worked on at least 230 films.
