Horst Preusker

Horst Preusker (born September 29, 1913 in Breslau ; † May 19, 1976 in Berlin ) was a German actor and director.

Life

After Preusker finished acting lessons in his hometown of Wroclaw, he later worked as a speaker for various radio companies. When what was then Reichsdeutsche Fernsehen broadcast a test program, he was able to become active there as an actor.

After the end of the Second World War , Preusker worked mainly for the radio, where he was employed as an announcer, speaker and director for radio play productions. At the end of the 1950s, he then worked as a freelancer, concentrating on dubbing, which he partly directed as a dubbing and dialogue director.

As an actor, he has worked in several DEFA and DFF film productions since the 1940s .
