Polyzi ( Ukrainian Полиці ; Russian Полицы Polizy , Polish Police ) is a village in the northwest of the Ukrainian Rivne Oblast with about 1250 inhabitants (2001).
The first time in 1629 in writing mentioned village is the administrative center of the same name, 27.199 km² District Municipality in the south of Rajon Volodymyrets to the villages Ivan Chee ( Іванчі , ⊙ ) with about 950 inhabitants, Soschnyky ( Сошники , ⊙ ) with about 500 inhabitants and Wereteno ( Веретено , ⊙ ) with about 450 inhabitants.
The village is located at an altitude of 174 m at the source of the Vyrka ( Вирка ), a 27 km long tributary of the Horyn , 22 km southwest of the district center Volodymyrez , and 95 km north of the Oblast center Rivne .
The M 07 / E 373 runs in the south of the village . The territorial road T – 18–08 leads from the village to the small town of Rafaliwka, 7 km to the northwest . In the center of the village is the wooden Orthodox Exaltation of the Cross, consecrated in 1901.
