The Pottschacherhütte is a refuge of the friends of nature Pottschach am Hartriegel am Gahns .

location

The Pottschacherhütte is located on the Hartriegel am Gahns above the village of Gasteil (municipality of Prigglitz ). From here you can reach the Schneeberg area.

history

The hut was built by Naturfreunde Pottschach and opened on June 11, 1962.

Arrival by train: to Pottschach or Gloggnitz train station on the Südbahn
Arrival by car: to Prigglitz or Gasteil
Arrival by bus: to Prigglitz

Ascent

Prigglitz - Pottschacherhütte, walking time 1½ hours (red marking).
Gasteil - Pottschacherhütte, walking time 40 minutes (red marking).
Pottschach - Putzmannsdorf - Tannschach - Gasteil - Pottschacherhütte, walking time 2 hours (green-red marking).
