Preduzeće Tito Sarajevo was a Yugoslav manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles .

Company history

The company was founded in Vogošća near Sarajevo in 1948 as an armaments company. In 1963, the company took over the production facilities from NSU-Motorenwerke as well as the license to manufacture motorcycles. Automobiles were also created later. The brand name was Pretis or NSU-Pretis . In 1967 the company merged with three other arms manufacturers to form the UNIS holding company . UNIS and Volkswagen AG founded Tvornica Automobila Sarajevo in 1972 for automobile production.

vehicles

The company halted production of NSU motorcycle NSU Maxi and scooters Prima III and Prima V , or Prima D continued. The NSU Prinz small car was later assembled. Another source indicates that from June 1965 the NSU Prinz 1000 was manufactured as NSU-Pretis 1000 , and the first delivery of NSU included 200 complete vehicles and parts for 3000 vehicles.
