Prelios SpA is an Italian property management company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since May 2002 . The main activities are in Italy, Germany and Poland . As of June 30, 2013, the volume of assets under management (AUM; ' assets under management ') was € 9.5 billion.
The headquarters of the German subsidiary Prelios Deutschland GmbH with around 400 employees is Hamburg ; 28 sales locations and regional offices are maintained nationwide.

Until the separation from the tire manufacturer Pirelli in October 2010, Prelios SpA operated under the name Pirelli & C. Real Estate SpA , or Pirelli RE for short . In 2011, depreciation on real estate, especially on the portfolio of the German housing company BauBeCon , led to a negative consolidated result. As a result, the BauBeCon portfolio, acquired in 2007 in a joint venture with RREEF (subsidiary of Deutsche Bank ), was taken over by Barclays Investment Bank (formerly Barclays Capital) at the end of 2011 after the financing had failed and was bought by Deutsche Wohnen in 2012 . In July 2008, Pirelli RE participated in the German department store portfolio Highstreet Holding through a consortium .
A capital increase was carried out in August 2013 . As a result, Prelios received € 115 million and was able to improve its financial situation noticeably. Another corporate strategy includes the exit from all remaining co- investments in Germany and Italy within the next two years and the relaunch as a real estate manager and service provider.
