Pretzabruck is a district of Markt Schwarzenfeld in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Pretzabruck is located about three kilometers east of Schwarzenfeld on the state road 2159 about 1.6 kilometers east of the A 93 . Pretzabruck is located on the south bank of the Schwarzach , which flows into the Naab one kilometer further west . On the northern edge of Pretzabruck there is a bridge over the Schwarzach over which one reaches Wölsendorf after 1.6 kilometers .

history

Beginnings up to the 18th century

Pretzabruck (also: Pezenprukke, Prezenpruk, Petznprückh) was first mentioned in the 13th century. In the sixties of the 13th century, probably still under Count Wolfgang von Altendorf , named in 1265 , Pretzabruck changed from the Altendorf family to the Wittelsbach family . In the land register of Ludwig des Strengen , it is listed as part of the property that fell to the Bavarian dukes .

In the Salbuch of 1413, 1444, 1473 and 1475 Pretzabruck was listed as subject to interest at the Nabburg office. In 1565 the Reichenbach am Regen monastery owned the Nabburg provost, through which income from Pretzabruck also flowed into the monastery.

In 1513 and 1596 Pretzabruck had 6 farms and a mill each. In 1606 there were 6 farms, a mill, 7 horses, 12 oxen, 16 cows, 16 cattle, 13 pigs and 75 sheep in Pretzabruck. For the years 1721 and 1762, 10 houses were listed in Pretzabruck.

19th century to the present

In 1811 the district court Nabburg was divided into 58 tax districts. Pretzabruck together with the hamlet of Zilchenricht formed a tax district to which 15 houses with 101 inhabitants belonged.

In parallel with the formation of the tax districts, chairmen were also formed in 1811. Schwarzenfeld together with Pretzabruck, Zilchenricht, Traunricht, Asbach and Schwaig formed the Schwarzenfeld chairmanship.

In 1818 rural communities were formed. The rural community of Pretzabruck was created, consisting of Pretzabruck itself with 14 families, Zilchenricht with 6 families, Traunricht with 6 families, Asbach with 5 families and Weiherhaus with one family.

In 1828 Pretzabruck had 10 houses, 11 families and 64 inhabitants, in 1964 it had 18 houses and 102 inhabitants. In 1842 all residents of Pretzabruck were Catholic and belonged to the school and the parish of Schwarzenfeld.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Pretzabruck belonged to the Schwarzenfeld parish and had 10 houses and 85 residents.

On January 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Pretzabruck was incorporated into Markt Schwarzenfeld.

On December 31, 1990 Pretzabruck had 80 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Schwarzenfeld.
