The Prexlhof is a district of the Painten market in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim .

geography

The wasteland is about two kilometers west of the center of Painten and is at an altitude of 533  m above sea level. NHN in the eastern part of the southern Franconian Alb . The place is located in the south-eastern part of the historical Tangrintel area , a predominantly wooded plateau that lies between the rivers of the Altmühl and the Schwarzen Laber .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the village became part of the independent rural community of Neulohe , which also included the parish of Maierhofen and the two deserted areas of Falterhof and Wieseneck . The seat of the rural community Neulohe was not the eponymous place itself, but Maierhofen. In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Prexlhof was then incorporated into Painten in 1972 together with the entire municipality of Neulohe. At the end of the 1980s Prexlhof had 4 residents.

traffic

The connection to the public road network is established by municipal roads that connect Prexlhof with the KEH 16 district road, which passes around 800 meters to the south of the town .
