The Einöde Wasenhütte is a district of the Painten market in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim . The former name of the village was Fallmeister , which is the job title of the skinner in Upper German (see Fallmeisterei ).

geography

The wasteland is about a kilometer northeast of the center of Painten and is at an altitude of 507  m above sea level. NHN in the eastern part of the southern Franconian Alb . The place is located in the south-eastern part of the historical Tangrintel area , a predominantly wooded plateau that lies between the rivers of the Altmühl and the Schwarzen Laber .

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the village became part of the independent rural community of Rothenbügl , which also included the wasteland Streithäusl in the west and the village of Viergstetten in the east.

traffic

The connection to the public road network is made by a dirt road that connects Wasenhütte with the outskirts of Painten, about half a kilometer away.
