The Falterhof is a district of the Painten market in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim .
geography
The wasteland, consisting of two properties, is located about one and a half kilometers southwest of the center of Painten and is at an altitude of 533 m above sea level. NHN in the eastern part of the southern Franconian Alb . The place is located in the south-eastern part of the historical Tangrintel area , a predominantly wooded plateau that lies between the rivers of the Altmühl and the Schwarzen Laber .
history
As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the village became part of the independent rural community of Neulohe , which also included the parish of Maierhofen and the two deserted areas of Prexlhof and Wieseneck . The seat of the rural community Neulohe was not the eponymous place itself, but Maierhofen. In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Falterhof was incorporated into Painten in 1972 together with the entire municipality of Neulohe. At the end of the 1980s, Falterhof had 7 residents.

The district road KEH 16 connects Falterhof to the public road network, it runs through the town of Painten in the northeast and southwest towards Maierhofen.
