The Einöde Wieseneck is a district of the Markt Painten in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim .
geography
The wasteland, consisting of two properties, is located about two kilometers south-southwest of the center of Painten and is at an altitude of 528 m above sea level. NHN in the eastern part of the southern Franconian Alb . The place is located in the south-eastern part of the historical Tangrintel area , a predominantly wooded plateau that lies between the rivers of the Altmühl and the Schwarzen Laber .
history
As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the village became part of the independent rural community Neulohe , which also included the parish of Maierhofen and the two deserted areas of Falterhof and Prexlhof . The seat of the rural community Neulohe was not the eponymous place itself, but Maierhofen. In the course of the municipal territorial reform in Bavaria carried out in the 1970s , Wieseneck was incorporated into Painten in 1972 together with the entire municipality of Neulohe. At the end of the 1980s Wieseneck had 5 residents.
traffic
The connection to the public road network is made by a municipal road that connects Wieseneck with the KEH 16 district road, which passes about half a kilometer south of the town .
