The 2011/12 Professionalnaya Basketbolnaya League season is the league's second regular season and the 21st Russian basketball championship. 10 teams take part in the 2011/12 championship. Since Dynamo Moscow was revoked after the end of the 2010/11 season due to financial problems, Spartak Primorye was accepted as the tenth team in the PBL. The season started on October 6, 2011 and ended on May 19, 2012 . CSKA Moscow became the champion.
Regular season
In the first phase, the 10 teams competed against each other in 2 rounds in home and away games. The four best teams qualified for the best of five play-offs. The play-offs for places 5 to 8 were played according to the best of three mode.
