Pud Cusack

Kathleen "Pud" Cusack (born before 1988) is a sound engineer .

Life

Cusack began her career on the film staff in 1988 as a cable helper on the set of Peter Masterson's drama The Texas Grill . In the following years she worked as a sound assistant on the boom in feature films such as Highway to Hell and My Bad Friend Fred , as well as in television productions. In the mid-1990s she had worked her way up to sound engineer and worked on major Hollywood productions such as Arlington Road and The Mask of Zorro .

1999 she worked for Martin Campbell's Zorro film version with Antonio Banderas in the title role along with Kevin O'Connell and Greg P. Russell for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Steven Spielberg's war movie The soldier James Ryan . Four more films followed by Campbell by 2011, including Vertical Limit and Green Lantern .
