The Río Tupiza is a river in the Cordillera de Lípez in the southeastern Andean high mountains of Bolivia .

The Río Tupiza has a total length of 45 kilometers. It forms at an altitude of 3327  m at the confluence of the Río Chilco and Río Tatasí / Río Tres Palcas in the municipality of Tupiza in the province of Sur Chichas in the Department of Potosí . The river flows west for the first 20 kilometers, then turns south, crosses the city of Tupiza and flows into the Río San Juan del Oro , a tributary of the Río Pilcomayo , at an altitude of 2874  m .
