HTS tentiQ GmbH (formerly Röder HTS Höcker) is a German company that develops and manufactures mobile halls and festival tents . Headquarters and production are located in Kefenrod , Germany .

history

Heinz Röder founded the family business RÖDER AG in 1959 with his brother and father. The company specialized in the rental of large tents with wooden frames. In 1976, Heinz Röder became managing director of RÖDER AG and in 1992 the decision was made to go public. In 1994 a five-year non-competition agreement was signed between Heinz Röder and the new owners (today Röder Zeltsysteme und Service AG) and the company was handed over to Klöckner & Co AG. Heinz Röder then turned away from the rental business and focused on production and sales to tent rental companies.

In 2001, Heinz Röder founded a new company called Röder HTS High Tech Structures KG, specializing in the design and manufacture of temporary structures. In 2004 he bought the competitor HÖCKER GmbH based in Bad Salzuflen (Germany). In 2005, RÖDER HTS KG and HÖCKER GmbH officially merged to form RÖDER HTS HÖCKER GmbH.

From 2002–2003 sales offices were opened in Great Britain , France and the Middle East , in 2006 in Singapore and Russia , and in 2007 in India .

In 2014 the partner company HTS Industriebau was established, which specializes in the development and production of quick-build steel halls.

At the beginning of 2019 the company was taken over by the Mittelstandsfonds Findos Investor GmbH and Bitburger Holding , and at the end of 2019 it was renamed HTS tentiQ. The company founder and long-time managing director Heinz Röder retired, Heribert Decher took over the position.

In 2009, HTS tentiQ designed a three-storey but fully collapsible “pit lane pavilion ” for the CLIPSAL 500 event in Adelaide , South Australia : The ground floor consists of 36 pit lanes and also houses various offices, medical and other facilities. a. Facilities. On the first and second floors there are numerous reception areas of different sizes for restaurants, TV and radio stations, race management, media center, etc.

Also in 2009, HTS tentiQ Leichtbauhallen (formerly HTS INDUSTRIE) was founded, an in-house special department for the sale and rental of lightweight halls to end customers from trade and industry . The department now has sales offices and product warehouses in Europe , Australia and the USA .

In 2010, a new frame system made of a carbon alloy was introduced and patented, whereby thanks to carbon lamellas a significant reduction in the volume and weight of the building is achieved. In the same year the HTS-Avantgarde-System was patented, a closed fastening system for external windows and walls.

In 2012, an order from the Russian Defense Ministry kicked off a new special department for the design, production and delivery of complete military camps and individual military tents as well as disaster response tents, the HTS tentiQ Government Authority (previously HTS-RDS).

In 2013, the company won a tender for 27.6 million US dollars for the construction of a new terminal building at the airport Nairobi ( Kenya ), after the old building had been destroyed by fire. The new terminal has increased the airport's capacity to 7.5 million people a year.

In 2015 the company built several refugee camps in Germany, and a contract for a refugee camp in Italy was signed at Tent Expo 2016 .

The company also has the exhibition building for the Sokolniki Park in Moscow ( Russia built). In 2008 a two-story building with a total of 3650 m² was built.

The company regularly builds spectator tents for motorsport organizers such as Audi , Porsche , BMW , Hankook and other car manufacturers .

According to the company's own information, the company's turnover in 2012 was 120 million euros.

The company has received IFAI and IFEA awards.
