X-ray badge
The X-ray plaque is a German science award that has been awarded by the city of Remscheid since 1951 .
This honors people who “in the broadest sense have made a special contribution to the progress and dissemination of the X-ray discovery in science and practice”. The plaque committee of the Society of Friends and Patrons of the German Röntgen Museum in Remscheid-Lennep eV suggests suitable candidates to the Lord Mayor of Remscheid, who carries out the award.
