The Röthelgraben is a left tributary of the Rohrach near Heidenheim in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The stream rises at an altitude of 571  m above sea level. NN southwest of Krottenmühle on the Hahnenkamm on the western slope of the Hörlesbucks . It flows steadily in a westerly direction and feeds several ponds. After a run of around 1.5 kilometers, the Röthelgraben flows out at an altitude of 500  m above sea level. NN northwest of Mariabrunn and south of Heidenheim from the left into the Rohrach. Not far opposite, the streams that spring from the Kohlbrunnen and the Seven Springs also flow.
