Raúl Castañeda (* 20th September 1982 in Guaymas , Mexico , † 6. September 2017 in La Paz , Mexico) was a Mexican boxer in the flyweight .

Career

Raúl Castañeda won 2003 with victories against Carlos Tamara and McWilliams Arroyo the qualifying tournament for participation in the Pan American Games in 2003, where he achieved a bronze medal. After victories against Juan Reveco and Winston Méndez , he had reached the semi-finals, where he was eliminated this time against Carlos Tamara.
