Rabnitz is a village and cadastral community of the market town of Kumberg in the Graz-Umgebung district , Styria .

The Styrian topographer Josef Andreas Janisch described the place in 1885:

“Rabnitz has 654 hectares, 52 houses, 394 souls (223 male, 181 female), is located south and west of Kumberg, between the Rabnitzbach and the Kalchbach , is partly flat, but more mountainous. The road to Radegund runs through the community and runs continuously through forest on a ridge. The community consists of the two localities Rabnitz and Wollsdorf, of which the former only contains 10 houses lying together and is located on the street mentioned. "
