Əbdürrəhim "Radik" Vələddinoviç İsayev (born September 26, 1989 in Akhtynski rajon , Dagestani ASSR , Soviet Union ) is an Azerbaijani Taekwondoin and Olympic champion . He starts in the weight class over 80 kilograms.

After his international debut in Baku in 2010 , his breakthrough came in 2013 at the World Championships in Puebla , where he won bronze in the class up to 87 kilograms. The following year he was European champion in the same class in Baku . At the 2015 World Cup in Chelyabinsk , he became world champion for the first time after beating Yasur Baikusiev in the final. At the European Games that followed shortly afterwards in Baku, he also won gold in the over 80 kilogram class. In the fight for the title he defeated Wladislaw Larin 4: 3.

2016 was İsayev at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the class over 80 kg Olympic champion . He won the final 6-2 against Abdoulrazak Issoufou Alfaga . Previously, he had prevailed against Ruslan Zhaparov with 11: 2, against the 2008 Olympic champion , Cha Dong-min , with 12: 8 and 4: 1 against Mahama Cho .
