Radio Televizioni i Kosovës ( Albanian ; Serbian Радио Телевизија Косова Radio Televizija Kosova ; RTK for short ) is the public broadcaster of Kosovo .
The four television programs RTK 1, RTK 2, RTK 3 and RTK 4 are broadcast. In addition to programs in Albanian, RTK 1 also broadcasts daily news in Turkish, Bosnian and Romani. The broadcaster RTK 2 broadcasts its full program exclusively in Serbian.
For several years the RTK program has also been broadcast via satellite (Eutelsat W2 16 degrees east, 12633 MHz vertical).
International organization
The broadcaster is aiming to be accepted into the EBU in order to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest . For this, Kosovo must either be a member of the Council of Europe or of the International Telecommunication Union . Since February 2, 2017, Kosovo has its own international phone code with +383 , which was assigned to it by the International Telecommunication Union in December 2016. It is possible that the station will be accepted into the EBU this year and be able to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 .
