The gmina wiejska Radomsko [ ra'dɔmskɔ ] is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Radomsko in the Łódź Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Radomsko . The rural community, to which the city of Radomsko itself does not belong, has an area of ​​85.3 km², on which (as of June 30, 2019) 5609 people live.

The rural commune is located in the western part of the Radomsko Heights, 40 km from Częstochowa . 52% of the municipal area is used for agriculture, 43% is covered with forest.

history

The rural municipality was formerly called Gmina Radomsk . From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Piotrków Voivodeship .
