Rafael Wodniok (born April 29, 1982 in Opole ) is a German - Polish football player and coach . He prefers to play in attacking midfield .
Career
As a player
He started his career at Fortuna Düsseldorf , then moved to a few smaller German clubs before leaving Germany for Poland. There he played for several clubs, such as B. Odra Opole and ŁKS Łódź , even in the second division . After he couldn't find a new club in the summer of 2008, he didn't play again until the beginning of 2010. This time at MKS Kluczbork. After two years, he dissolved his contract at the end of December 2011 and was initially without a club. In spring 2012 he moved back to Germany (Bavaria). He joined the district top division club TSV Kornburg , where he was active in 2005. At the beginning of September 2012 he switched to the national division TSV Bogen. In February 2013 Wodniok moved to the Bayern league club DJK Ammerthal . Two years later he moved to league competitor SpVgg SV Weiden and then in 2016 to the district league club Wacker Neutraubling.
As a trainer
After returning to Germany, he also began his coaching career. First he was assistant coach of the B-youth team at the regional division Wacker Neutraubling , before he took over the position of coach for the first team for the 2012/13 season. The contact to the club came about through Wodniok's brother-in-law , who is active at Wacker Neutraubling. During the winter break of 2014/15 he resigned from his position. But a short time later he became an assistant coach again and has been Neutraubling's player-coach since 2016.
